A shared pond, with a little care.

What floats here
In the shared pond, submitted notes become public immediately after verification. Published notes can be read and copied by anyone, anywhere. Please leave out names, contact information, and anything that identifies you or someone else. “Anonymous” means other visitors do not see an author name or account; it does not promise complete technical anonymity.
Moderation
Notes may be hidden or permanently removed. Please do not post threats, harassment, identifying information, spam, or material unsuitable for a public pond. Use the flag on a note to send it for review; this also hides it from your browser. Reports and pending notes are not public. This is not an emergency service, and review is not immediate.
What is stored
Supabase stores notes, their koi’s visual properties, approval state, and reports. We use a random, signed browser identifier for abuse limits; no visitor account is required. A keyed hash of that identifier is kept with short-lived submission receipts and reports. We do not store your IP address in the application database. Hosting, Supabase, and Cloudflare may process IP addresses and operational logs under their own policies. Cloudflare Turnstile processes device and network signals to verify requests.
Favourites and notes you have hidden stay on this browser. Clearing browser storage removes those preferences; it does not delete published notes. We use no advertising analytics. The website also requests its fonts from Google Fonts.
Retention and removal
Approved notes remain until removed. Pending and hidden notes are removed after 30 days. Reports are removed after 30 days, submission receipts after eight days, and moderation action logs after 90 days. Scheduled cleanup must be enabled by the operator. Provider backups may retain deleted data for the provider’s backup retention period.
To request removal, flag the note. Because visitors have no accounts, we cannot verify ownership of an anonymous note. Moderators can remove it without identifying its author.
